TPP Guidance Published for COVID-19 Rapid Breath Tests
The MHRA has today published guidance on the 'Target Product Profile (TPP) for rapid breath tests for the direct and indirect detection of SARS-CoV-2'. Further detail is available here.
TPPs have been developed to assist manufacturers in designing and delivering new tests to support the UK’s COVID-19 testing strategy. How closely a product matches the profile may also inform procurement and regulatory decision making. ABHI members were very pleased to contribute to this latest TPP which will be of interest to anyone working on breath tests for COVID-19.
