About Stuart

Stuart James Corr currently serves as Director of Surgical Innovation for the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston. He has established and runs INSTINCT℠ – the Interdisciplinary Surgical Technology and Innovation Center – whose goal is to allow for fast development of ‘proof-of-principle’ prototypes through it’s incubator, as well as assist local startups with obtaining valuable pre-clinical data for FDA-approval and clinical technology adoption. Being born in the UK (Scotland) he continues to develop close working relationships with UK-based academics and companies wishing to gain exposure to the US system. www.bcm-instinct.com.
