Biography/Career
Matt has been in the healthcare sector since 2015 after a 15 year career working in private equity and banking.
Matt joined Kimal in 2015 to oversee two strategic projects for the business (its Cairo production facility and its new UK logistics hub). These projects were successfully delivered through close collaboration with Kimal’s other Board members. Matt was appointed Kimal’s CEO in 2020, with an aim to bring a refreshed focus on product diversification, evolution of its manufacturing capabilities and leveraging of its enhanced asset base.
Prior to joining Kimal Matt worked for a range of investment companies with different portfolio focusses from UK real estate through to greenfield consumer goods factories in Ethiopia.
Matt is excited about joining the ABHI Board at a time where he believes the role of the Association is increasingly important in both helping to frame the critical discussion points with government around transformational policy, such as regulation, whilst also ensuring UK businesses are supported in growing both domestically and internationally.
