Biography/Career
In 2019, Hugo Breda was appointed to Managing Director, JnJ Medical Devices for UK and Ireland where he has driven the organisation towards addressing the triple aim of improving patient outcomes and experience while reducing the total cost of care.
Most recently, Hugo served as JnJ Medical Devices EMEA Vice President responsible for leading the Strategic Capabilities department where he led the development of the services & solutions portfolio, CareAdvantage, as well as well as the EMEA wide responsibility for HEMA, pricing, SFE and BI.
Hugo started his career in Nike as Strategic Account rep in Belgium and moved to Janssen 23 years ago. Advancing his career quickly with increasing responsibilities, Hugo went on to lead the Oncology, CNS, Immunology and General Medicine businesses in Janssen Austria & Switzerland and later moved to Paris for Janssen France where he had a strong track record of developing patient centric programs that create broader access to innovation and better outcomes for patients in Haematology, Schizophrenia, Alzheimer and Psoriasis.
Hugo holds a Master of Science in Physical Education and Kinesiology with a specialisation in coaching and training sciences from the university of Leuven.
