Biography/Career
I have worked in the Healthcare sector for 30+ years in a number of European countries.
I spent many years in Baxter International starting in Sales and Marketing moving into Strategic Operations and to General Management. I have had responsibility of running a number of geographies in Europe including Ireland, Austria, Switzerland &Portugal and ultimately was M.D for Baxter U.K from 2007 through to 2015.
As UK MD, our company joined ABHI and I subsequently was elected to the Board. During this tenure I cochaired the MMTSG with Lord Howe (Minister of Health). This group was a high-level liaison group between our ABHI membership and Government. I also served on the S.E Council of CBI representing the interests of business, in the Thames Valley region.
After two years working on a consultancy basis in Private Equity and Venture Capital, I joined DCC Vital as Group Managing Director. DCC Vital is part of DCC PLC group which is a FTSE 100 industrial holding company with interests in Healthcare, Energy and Technology. The company has substantial Healthcare interests in U.K ranging from own portfolio Medical devices, manufacturing, specialist logistics provider and the largest supplier of Healthcare products into U.K primary care sector.
