Government Contingency Planning Information Request
As I have detailed to you in recent weeks, the Government has been working on contingency planning in the event of a no-deal Brexit. The next stage is to accurately assess the operational viability of these plans, therefore, this week, you will have received a further request for information from the Department for Health and Social Care. The questionnaire can be found here.
This detail is needed to help officials assess the requirements of any additional freight capacity that has to be secured. The DHSC has informed us that this will be a once only exercise for companies, with 17:00GMT on Thursday 20 December the deadline to return the form to mdcc-contingencyplanning@dhsc.gov.uk
