Health Research from Home’s third and final Connect event is taking place on Friday 27 November, 2026 at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.
We’re excited to be bringing it north to Manchester, creating another opportunity where you can shape the future of health research using smartphones and wearables.
As the (for now) final Health Research from Home’s event, we will be looking back and celebrating everything that has been achieved. In addition to the same high-quality talks, insights, and networking opportunities, this will be a chance to connect with colleagues across research, industry, and public and patient communities.

What is Connect?
Health Research from Home Connect brings together researchers across career stages from PhD students to national leaders, industry experts, and public and patient contributors to explore the use of smartphones and wearables in health research. The day includes keynote talks, showcases, networking opportunities, and discussions designed to spark new ideas and collaborations.
About Health Research from Home
The Health Research from Home Partnership is an interdisciplinary group who have all conducted, or contributed to, successful population research using smartphones and wearables.
Led by The University of Manchester and funded by the Medical Research Council we bring together leading academics, industry partners and public contributors to advance this notoriously difficult field of research. We do this by sharing the lessons we have learnt for the future benefit of patients and the public.
