The next NHS England milestone on the Supplier Roadmap requires suppliers to include emissions for global operations and all 15 categories of Scope 3 by April 2027.
From April 2024 all suppliers have been required to have a Carbon Reduction Plan in line with PPN06/21 as a tender PASS/FAIL element. The next milestone requires an extension to the current requirements.
The NHS Supplier Roadmap towards net zero means all suppliers need to join them on this journey or risk being excluded from tendering or supplying to the NHS.
