Neighbourhood health is at the heart of the NHS’s drive to bring care closer to communities, with a focus on joined-up services that improve access, reduce health inequalities, and deliver better outcomes for patients.
In this context, we are pleased to invite you to a webinar with Dr Vish Ratnasuriya MBE, Chair of Our Health Partnership (OHP), one of the UK’s largest GP partnerships. In 2015, Vish helped establish OHP and was elected its Chair. Today, all 47 practices, serving 350,000 patients, are rated “Good” or “Outstanding” by the CQC. Vish is also a founding partner of the Primary Care Accelerator, a programme embedded within providers, giving innovators the ability to test, develop and scale across the NHS.
In this session, Vish will share his insights on building a large, collaborative model that balances local autonomy with the benefits of scale, ensuring consistency, resilience, and growth opportunities across partner practices. With neighbourhood health now a central element of the NHS’s 10 Year Health Plan, this is a valuable opportunity for ABHI members to hear first-hand how such models are being delivered in practice, the lessons learned, and how these developments could shape future opportunities for industry engagement. As a local leader within the Birmingham and Solihull Integrated Care System, Vish will also provide an important perspective on current initiatives that are bringing partners together to improve population health and reduce inequalities across the region.
