Connecting members, health systems, and global markets to shape the future of healthcare

DHSC Briefing: Delivering the Women's Health Strategy

Venue: Online.

Start: Thursday 17 Sept 2026 12:00

End: Thursday 17 Sept 2026 13:00

Earlier this year, the Department of Health and Social Care published the refreshed Women's Health Strategy, setting out the Government's vision for improving women's health and healthcare over the next decade.

In this briefing for ABHI members, we will hear directly from DHSC's Women's Health policy team on implementation plans, key priorities, and opportunities for industry engagement. Attendees will gain insight into how the Strategy will be delivered in practice and where innovation can support improved outcomes for women across the life course.

Taking place on 17 September, World Patient Safety Day, this is a particularly timely discussion. While recent maternity reviews have brought women's health and patient safety into sharp focus, the Strategy spans a much broader agenda, including prevention, diagnosis, reproductive health, menopause, and reducing inequalities in access and outcomes. The session will explore how HealthTech can support the delivery of these ambitions and help drive meaningful system-wide change.
