As the NHS begins implementing the Department of Health and Social Care's new Value Based Procurement (VBP) National Standard Guidance, understanding how value will be assessed has never been more important.
The following article, developed by ABHI member SWART Evaluation, is the first in a series exploring each of the five domains that underpin the new VBP framework. This opening piece focuses on Efficiency, examining how suppliers can demonstrate value beyond acquisition cost and build a stronger evidence base for NHS decision-makers.
