The Health Foundation’s NHS Productivity Commission report, From Diagnosis to Delivery, identifies four key drivers of productivity: workforce, capital, technology and innovation, and transformation. It also makes clear that further progress will depend on a stronger partnership approach across the NHS, the Royal Colleges and industry.
In this discussion, Ravi Chana, Executive Director of Diagnostics at ABHI, is joined by Dr Bernie Croal, President of the Royal College of Pathologists, and Professor Peter Johnston, Vice President for Workforce and Corporate Engagement at the College, to explore what this means in practice and how collaboration can support sustainable improvements in diagnostic capacity and patient care.
