A former heart patient who has volunteered to help various organisations to promote openness and transparency within healthcare for over 20 years. My support of Research at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital Foundation Trust led to my full time employment as a Patient Ambassador in 2014, hopefully giving an independent voice in the way we care for and treat our patients.
