The Code Compass
At ABHI, all our members commit to our Code of Ethical Business Practice, a framework that underpins trust through the highest professional standards and ethical behaviour.
While the full Code runs to almost 100 pages, we are pleased to share that, working with ABHI member Stryker, we have distilled its core principles into an accessible new tool: the Code Compass.
Centred around five guiding pillars - Patient First, Integrity in Action, Teamwork & Respect, Innovation with Ethics, and Leadership & Accountability - the Compass provides a simple and practical way to navigate everyday decisions, always with patients at the heart.
Our intention is for this document to be used by anyone wishing to better understand the purpose and principles of the Code at a glance. It also serves as a helpful platform to support conversations around compliance with healthcare professionals, and it underlines our commitment to the NHS Code of Ethical Practice.
