Health Technology Assessment
Medical device manufacturers are these days increasingly being
asked by various customers and authorities for evidence of the
clinical and cost effectiveness of their products. Equally ABHI is
being asked to encourage companies to propose appraisal topics to
official bodies.
ABHI's objective is to ensure that ABHI provides a service to
members where joint submissions are needed and also to provide
consensual industry comment on NICE (National Institute for
Clinical Excellence) and NHS Quality Board of Scotland
processes.
