UK Market
The UK Market department seeks to influence the development of
processes and procurement in the UK healthcare market and to help
industry to be well prepared. In doing so the department provides a
service to members by representing the industry's position on
issues relevant to the processes associated with procurement and
health technology assessment.
The agenda is set by the UK Market Policy Group which delegates
tasks to working groups. The department also reports results and
developments to members through progress reports and Forum
meetings. These meetings take place twice a year and feature
outside speakers. ABHI also hosts discreet "Round Table" meetings
with key players in the NHS, the Department of Health and the
private healthcare market.
