Sterilisation & Microbiology Working Group
The purpose of this group is to monitor developments in the
areas of sterilisation and microbiology as they apply to the
medical devices industry.
Membership is open to all members.
Areas typically covered by meetings of this group are:
- Bioburden (microbial contamination)
- Ethylene oxide sterilisation
- Irradiation sterilisation
- Moist heat sterilisation
- Chemical & Biological Indicators
Members have the opportunity to comment on draft standards and
also to be nominated to standards committees, subject to vacancies
being available and approval by the Working Group.
Members are kept up to date with details of the latest draft
standards available for comment via the electronic newsletter
