Environmental Issues
There is a great deal of environmental legislation which will apply to medical device companies. In order to maximise its effectiveness the ABHI concentrates mainly on that legislation where there are elements that apply directly to the devices industry.

In a number of other areas ABHI keeps a ‘watching brief’ and these include: PVC, healthcare waste, batteries and chemicals.
ABHI holds regular meetings of its Environmental Business Compliance Forum and these are open to all members.
ABHI publishes Guidance Documents on environmental issues.
