China no longer seems like a difficult
market, in a land far, far away which requires patience and deep
pockets to succeed in. CMEF is a show where one gets a sense that
China means business and is changing so fast that old attitudes

5. HOSPIMedica Thailand
ABHI took a pavilion at HOSPIMedica Thailand last week. The
pavilion comprised nine exhibiting companies and a shared UKTI/ABHI
stand. Exhibiting companies included De Soutter Medical, Newmarket
Laboratories and Safe Environmental Solutions.
Exhibiting companies also participated in a series of business
meetings arranged by Spectaris/Asia Interprise Thailand.
A number of leads obtained on the ABHI/UKTI stand will feature
in the next issue of this e-newswire.

6. Focus on Singapore
Singapore’s medical standards are among the highest in Asia, and
it is widely acknowledged as a regional centre for medical
excellence. Healthcare is offered by both the public and private
sectors, with the public sector providing 80% of tertiary care and
20% of primary care, with the private sector accounting for the

An 8-member healthcare mission from Singapore will be visiting
the UK from 8 – 12 October. They are keen to identify UK products
for exclusive representation in Singapore and the region, with
several having well established links in neighbouring markets. UK
companies interested in exploring long term collaboration in this

8 October.
