2. Birthday Honours for Medical Technology Industry:Geoff Morris, Medtronic's Regional Vice President for the UK and Ireland and ABHI's former Chairman was awarded an OBE. Geoff was also a member of the Healthcare Industries Task Force (HITF) Strategic Implementation Group, the government / industry body tasked with compiling a strategy to improve procurement and adaptation of innovation in the NHS. Also awarded an OBE for his contribution to the medical devices industry was Malcolm Carlisle, Managing Director of Eschmann Holdings. Malcolm is a long-standing member of ABHI's Technical Policy Group, and is also heavily involved in Eucomed as the board member with responsibility for regulatory affairs. [ back to top ]

3. Medica - Dusseldorf, Germany; 14-17 November 2007
ABHI will again be taking a pavilion at Medica this year. Medica remains the world's pre-eminent medical exhibition and, combined with ComPaMED, is the leading international trade fair for the medical technology industry. 5. Arab Health; Dubai, UAE 28 - 31 January 2008
Arab Health is the largest healthcare event in the Middle East and a key exhibition in the Industry's calendar.
