Mike Kreuzer, ABHI Technical and Regulatory Director, paid this tribute:

Trudy has made an exceptional contribution to ABHI starting with its formative period in the early nineties. She took the lead with standards management, both in the UK and internationally, providing members with a service which made ABHI unique among European trade associations. She will be greatly missed but members will be pleased to hear that arrangements are in place to ensure that this important activity continues and an announcement will be made next month.
