Office for Life Sciences
The Office for Life Sciences (OLS) was established in January 2009 with the recognition that more needed to be done to support a thriving UK environment for the Life Sciences: pharmaceuticals, medical technology and medical biotechnology.
The stated aim of the OLS is an attempt to coordinate across government, drawing in the departments concerned: Business, Health, Innovation as well as Treasury.
Since the OLS was established in 2009 the ABHI, along with our life science partners, have been working closely with them.
