International Activities
The principal aim of the International department is to increase the demand for products/services from the UK healthcare industry from overseas buyers. Therefore ABHI acts as the sector focal point for the medical device industry and delivers the UK shop window for international buyers.
In order to achieve these aims, the department is working to expand industry's role (and sales), influence government policy and develop relationships with key overseas organisations.
Day-to-day activities include the organisation of exhibitions and inward missions, as well as providing professional sign posting, support and guidance. ABHI also sits on a number of Government working groups and forums to enhance access for UK medical devices to overseas markets
