Trade Mission & UK Pavilion Medical Fair India 2018
ABHI, in partnership with the Department for International Trade (DIT), is organising the UK pavilion at Medical Fair India for the first time, alongside a trade mission to two of India’s most dynamic cities. The programme starts in Bangalore, before heading on to Mumbai and will incorporate a number of hospital visits and networking receptions before joining the exhibition at Medical Fair India. Companies will be allocated a designated pod to showcase their products and literature. The pods are aimed at companies wishing to participate in the show for the first time, presenting a terrific opportunity to showcase your business within one of the world’s most exciting markets. The demand from companies to be part of the UK pavilion and mission means that space for 2018 is limited.
India is expected to rank amongst the world’s top three healthcare markets for incremental growth by 2020. In 2015, its healthcare sector became the country’s fifth largest employer with 4,713,061 people and is one of its fastest growing industries. Its growth rate is expected advance to 22.87% during 2015-20, equating to USD$280 billion by 2020. There is immense scope for enhancing healthcare services penetration in India.
With a huge boom in visitors, Medical Fair India has marked out its position as the leading medical trade fair for the Indian market and continues to grow year-on-year. Nearly 13,500 decision makers from all sectors of the healthcare industry came to Medical Fair India 2017, visiting 519 exhibitors to learn about the latest trends and innovations for healthcare.
