The Medica International Trade Fair and Congress, held annually
in Dusseldorf, Germany, is the world's premier health-care
exhibition. Last year, just over 4,000 companies showcased their
products and services to an international audience of health-care
professionals, buyers, suppliers and distributors.
Around 250 British companies exhibited in 2004, and a large
number were located in the ABHI pavilion.

ADDED VALUE AT MEDICA
2005
As well as the British pavilion, ABHI also organises Project
Medica, with UK Trade & Investment, Department of Health
International and other partner organisations such as GAMBICA,
Walestrade International and the Medilinks. The aim of Project
Medica is to bring key and embassy staff from around the world into
and onto the stands of the UK exhibitors at Medica.
For the exhibitors, Project Medica is the most time-efficient
way to gain as much market knowledge as possible from the
commercial officers from a broad range of countries.
