Adherence to high ethical standards is now expected of all businesses and the medical devices industry is no exception. In many countries government has stepped in and imposed anti-corruption laws specific to this sector, however the UK government encourages self regulation by industry. In response the ABHI has adopted the Eucomed Code of Business Practice which entered into force in the UK on 1st April 2008.
The ABHI is holding a seminar on 12 November 2008 to brief members on the implications of this new Code of Business Practice.
Why should you attend?

o Advertising and Promotion – ensuring all promotional marketing material is accurate and fair
o Abiding by Competition laws
o Unlawful payment and practices – including direct and indirect inducements
