The ABHI is proud to present its UK Market conference, Getting Innovation to Patients: Engaging the NHS Business Landscape. The one day conference will take place at BMA House at Tavistock Square, London on 26 November 2008, and be followed by a networking drinks reception.

The NHS is entering a new phase. Commercial drivers are now becoming a key part of the delivery of healthcare to patients. New organisations, activities and practices span the healthcare sector. In this environment innovative medical technologies must still reach patients. Therefore it is essential for all those involved in the delivery of healthcare to be aware of the challenges and opportunities presented by these changes for their organisations and companies.

The aim of the ABHI conference is to provide an insight into the NHS commercial innovation system as now revealed and, following the OGC review of DH procurement capability, how the different organisations and activities fit together and how opportunities can be maximised for patients and the NHS.

The conference is intended to bring together a diverse audience of NHS clinicians and commissioners, healthcare decision-makers and industry.
